UGA STAFF COUNCIL LISTSERVS

Through designated list administrators, the UGA Staff Council manages two listservs as a service to the university community.

UGASTAFF is an open discussion list which serves as a forum to present issues relevant to members of the University community and to post local events of interest. 

UGASC is for official notices from Staff Council.  It is a read-only list, with no posting by subscribers.  Everything posted to this list is also posted to ugastaff, so you do not need to subscribe to both lists. 

UGA-FOR SALE Guidelines. This list is no long administered by the Staff Council.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR LISTSERV USE are guidelines to sending email commands, posting messages, available message formats and vacation tips.

Because the list server is a university computer, rules applying to computer usage at UGA apply to subscribers to the list whether or not they use a UGA computer to access it.  Complete computer security and ethics guidelines are available at http://www.uga.edu/~compsec/, along with other links to information on relevant laws, e-mail hoaxes, and internet use.
